“Shell lake offers seasonal RV sites as well as cabins and camping spots (electric but no water). When we go, we stay with a seasonal RV spot guest. We love Shell Lake and are hoping to eventually have our own spot in the park. All the seasonal spot guests have typically been there for more than one summer, it's small and there is a feeling of family. There are always kids running around, there's a small beach for swimming, a basketball court, and play structure. Some weekends have themes (this past weekend was Fourth of July with dinner painted t shirts for kids, volleyball and bean bag tournaments, and a fireworks display.) Amy and Josh do a great job.”
“I was 14 in this photo; 1978. The jukebox played Supertramp and Ann Murray on those mosquito infested hot summer nights, and we hadn't a care in the world as kids. We fished to our hearts content, cut up the lake on skis and had beer battered crappie for dinner while the old folks had a beer. Enjoy your time here. Life is the blink of an eye.”
